UK Delivery Options

We use Royal Mail to send UK items. All items are sent with proof of posting and if you select Special Delivery or Recorded Delivery options please be aware you do need to sign for them.  This is to guarantee they arrive with you safely and are insured if they for any reason do not.

If you need your item in a hurry please contact us on 01273 777811 and we will get your order out to you using a courier service at an extra cost.

Worldwide Delivery Options

Order will be sent standard Royal Mail Airmail unless you request otherwise.  If you wish to track your item we can send it via a courier if agreed to prior to placing the order at an additional charge. 

We are not responsible for any items that are lost in the post.

Discreet Billing and Packaging

Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us. Our delivery service is 100% discreet. All orders are shipped in plain packaging i.e. plain brown boxes or wrapped in brown paper. The name She Said will not be displayed anywhere on the packaging. No reference to the items contained in the parcel will be found on any of our outer packaging.  Even our sender information is discreet.

Same Day Dispatch

All orders received Monday to Friday before 12:30pm each day will be shipped that same day; if any of the items are out of stock these will follow as soon as they are in stock at no extra cost to you.  We will ALWAYS notify you if we split your delivery. Our shipping hours are 8am-4pm. If your order is placed after 4.00pm or on a weekend/Bank Holiday it may be shipped the next working day. If you place an order after 4pm on a Friday, your order will not be dispatched until the next working day (Monday, or Tuesday in the case of Bank Holidays) but be assured if there is a chance we can send it out sooner we always will endeavour to do so.


Where is my Delivery?

All items displayed on our website as ‘In Stock’ are available to be ordered from our warehouse and will be dispatched the same working day that we receive your order (if placed before 4pm Monday-Friday). Over 99% of our parcels are delivered within the specified time but if you don’t receive your order within the time expected please track your parcel online or contact us on 01273 778111

If you do not receive your order we ask that you let us know within a reasonable period (30 days from order) if your parcel does not arrive. Under Trading Standards guidelines, if you do not notify us that your parcel has not been delivered we will assume it arrived safely. 




Terms & Conditions (Items bought in our Brighton Boutique)

If you are unhappy with your purchase you have 14 days from the date of purchase to return it to the store for an exchange or credit note.  These terms are extended to the 21st January for Christmas purchases and 28th February for St Valentine's purchases. Provided you return your purchase in re-saleable condition and with proof of purchase within this time you will be offered an exchange for your item or a credit note to spend either instore or online.  Items returned that have been worn, stored badly or are otherwise damaged or not in the same saleable condition as at the time of purchase may be exempt from a credit or refund which will be at the Manager's discretion. 

We do not offer exchanges or credit notes for Sale goods as these are non returnable unless faulty.  

We are unable to offer exchanges or credit notes for adult toys or products of an intimate nature where the box/ packaging/ seals has been opened.

If the product you have bought is faulty, please return it to us within 14 days (unless your product has a longer warranty period) with proof or purchase and any certificates/ warranties  and we will be happy to either exchange it or replace it with a similar item or refund you in full.  Please note that in certain cases where we have to return faulty items back to the manufacturer as your item is protected by their warranty, there may be a delay in processing the exchange, replacement or refund but we will endeavour to process it as quickly as we can.

Terms & Conditions (Items bought on our online web store)

  • If you're unhappy with your purchase, please let us know. Unless faulty, we'd like this to be within 30 days of purchase
  • If you return your item to our shop and you'd like a refund but don't have your receipt or order confirmation, we may be unable to issue you a refund or credit note. Ordinarily if you have your receipt or delivery note we'll refund the original debit, credit or charge card used to purchase - please see below for exceptions. 
  • It's important that any unwanted item, unless faulty, is returned in a re-saleable condition. We'd expect this to mean that you've kept all original packaging and labels, and that it's undamaged and unused

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. 

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.  

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. 

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)

Book with obvious signs of use

Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery 

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. 

Exchanges (if applicable)

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. 

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item and you will be responsible for any items that get damaged or lost in the post so you may wish to take the precaution of getting Proof of Purchase if the item is less than £20.00 in value or send it Recorded/ Special Delivery to ensure you have adequate insurance. If you are shipping an item over £50, you should definitely consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance (ask at your Post Office). We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. . Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary but you are welcome to contact us for an update by either calling the shop or sending us an email, and you can be assured we will endeavour to process your refund as quickly as we can.


Privacy Statement


When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates. 


How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall. 


If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

When you click on links on our store, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.


To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption.  Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
