How to Measure Your Bra Size

In order to find out your bra size, you need to know two measurements, your back size and your bust or cup size.

To establish your back size (this is your underbust size), i.e 32”, 34” etc, measure snugly under your bust then add on 2” if the measurement is even number, and 3” if an odd number. Websites like Figleaves suggest adding even 4” or 5” on an even and odd size respectively. This is probably because they cater to a primarily British audience, and British women are not used to a bra fitting snugly like French women are. So, if you measurement under your bust is 31”, your actual back size for a bra is 34”.
